Kothimbir vadi

Maharastian dish which serves as a nice snack.

Ingredients:


11/2 cup coriander leaves
1 cup besan
11/2 tblsp corainder seeds
1 tblsp jeera
1/2 tblsp of  salt
3 green chillies 
1/2 tblsp turmeric powder
2 tblsp ginger garlic paste

Directions:

1) Chop the coriander. Mix it wih besan
2) Mix in the ginger-garlic-green chilly paste.  Crush the coriander seeds and jeera.
3) Make a dough like batter.
4) Keep a plate in the double boiler. Grease the plate with little oil. Make rolls of  batter and place in the plate.
5) Once the batter is steamed(insert a knife and it should come out clean), remove it and cut into pieces. Let it cool.
6) Heat oil in a pan, shallow fry the pieces(It can also be deep fried)
7) Serve with ketchup
